4 Reasons Why I like Twinings Four Red Fruits Tea.

I am not fond of drinking hot tea because I don't like the bitter taste of the drink but this one is an exemption. Yeah, folks I gave a tea another try and I'm glad I did. My friend Lyra introduced me with this brand:

I'm glad I followed her advised. I totally changed my mind and makes me like to drink tea once more.

There are 4 reasons why I adore this brand of tea:

1. It has this fruity scent - a mixed of cherry and raspberry!

2. It has a hint of sweetness on its own though I add one tea spoon of brown sugar for extra kick of sweetness

3. The texture is light and mild.

4. It has no acrid taste which I do not like on tea that I've tried before (yellow tea and green tea).

Get Rid of Warts using Apple Cider Vinegar – First Part

I have so many imperfections on my skin. One of them is I have tons of warts in my face and some areas in my body. I’ve done laser treatment twice to remove my warts but still there are few that’s left. I want to get rid of them all but I have no budget yet (poorita problem).

Good thing my bff Iza share her one of her beauty secrets which is the Apple Cider Vinegar. We had a good conversation on Gtalk and suddenly she opens the topic about warts. She said that the product is very effective! She has a big wart on her face and she uses the apple cider vinegar for 2 weeks. Then one day the wart has fallen off, isn’t it amazing eh?! 

Of course I am obviously smitten by her statement that I totally run off to the grocery store to buy one for me. LOL. Oh boy the apple cider vinegar is inexpensive. I bought one for 78 pesos!

Here’s the instruction that she told me when using the product:

1. Put one table spoon of water on the Apple Cider Vinegar in a small container/bottle and mix it;
2. Use it at night and apply on the area that has warts using cotton balls or Q-tip.

The only con that she mentions is the strong acid smell that I had to agree with her. I use the apple cider vinegar for 24 hours now that’s why I can’t comment yet if it is effective or not-- but one thing is for sure I will let you guys now about it. I will document it properly and upload pictures of my improvement on my next blog entry so stay tune.

Beauty Review: Watsons Strawberry Lip Balm

I reach the bottom of my Nivea lip balm recently. If you know me I have a very dry lips therefore I should buy one asap or I end up looking like a funny looking woman with chappy lips.

Good thing I was at the mall, I run and went straight to Watsons stall. I search their lip balm range and my eyes caught this colorful looking thing:

Who am I to resist this product if it has Tweety Bird on it, Duh?! Plus the fact that it is strawberry flavored. Yayy! You know the next thing that I do. Yeah, I brought this thing at home.

It costs 79 pesos, 10 pesos cheaper compared to Nivea lip balm.

The verdict:

I love it! It truly moisturize my lips. The longevity last for 2 hours. It is not too shiny when I apply it on my lips which is a good thing for me because I don't want to look like I just kiss litson (suckling pig) if you know what I mean! Hahaha.

Oh by the way I paired this lip balm with my favorite shade of lip stick and it turns out so well.

My Cyst Surgery and My Road to Recovery

I mentioned on my previous blog post here that I underwent cyst operation at Makati Medical Centre. I thank the Lord that the laboratory result of my cyst is not malignant. Before we jump into my surgery story here is the picture of my cyst to give you an idea how big it was.

One week before the operation date I was advice by my doctor to take antibacterial tablets which is cefuroxime (500mgs). I need to take it every 12 hours a day. The medicine smells awful and it taste bad too. Oh I forgot I also had a hard time to gulp it down because the tablet is big.

The cyst operation that I had is not a major one which just lasted for an hour. The injection of anesthesia is painful but the operation is just a breeze after. Luckily, my general surgeon has a good sense of humor. I didn't notice that he already removed the cyst because he was throwing jokes to divert my attention.

After the surgery, I didn't experience difficulty taking a bath because my wound is covered with waterproof dressing. I forgot to shot a picture of it so my apology. Here's the picture of my back, after 2 weeks and after the doctor removed the waterproof dressing:
