I record all my expenditures every month to easily track down which expenses I need to minimize or
avoid spending.

I am an impulsive buyer before but now I try to
control it by categorizing the product or things that caught my eye if that's a necessity or not.
3. I eat out one fewer time each month.

I avoid going to the malls during payday.
5.
I do my shopping during sale.

When I do my grocery, I bring a list with me and
I stick to it. I also make sure that I am not hungry or else I might purchase
things that I don’t really need.

I bring my packed lunch to work.

During payday I take off 10%-20% off my net income to put into my savings account. This one is the hardest thing to do but it makes me
happy when I know I got to save more for that month.

Live a simple life. Don’t be a snob or purchase
things that are expensive especially if you can’t afford it. I learned this
mantra from our former sr. accountant of the company I am working right now.
10.
I watch my savings grow and it gives me a
satisfaction that I am on the right track. I giggle when I reach or meet my
target amount quarterly.
