Baguio Part 3 - Tam-Awan Village, Route 55, Mines View Park & Good Taste

I mentioned on my previous post about our 1st stop on Strawberry farm which you can read it on Baguio Part 2. After the strawberry farm we headed to our next destination which is Tam-Awan Village. At first I thought we will just walking or strolling the place but we end up trekking because it is like a mini-mountain with cliffs and muddy soil. This is also the time that my phone battery drained out. A boo boo for a newbie blogger like me. Luckily I have friends that I can resort to when I run out of photo to use in this blog. I just grabbed these pictures on their Facebook accounts! Yayy.

This banner greeted us when we entered the vicinity

We pay 50 pesos for the entrance fee which is on our part the company shouldered for us. Hehe. The advantage of team building. Hahaha.

Entrance Fee: Children 20 pesos, Student & Senior 30 pesos & Adult 50 pesos

I really don't know what is the purpose of this one but it caught my eye and find this cool

Baguio Part 2 - Strawberry Farm

The next day we woke up early to get ready for a long day list of activities that we scheduled to do in Baguio. If ever you missed reading my blog entry just click the link Baguio Part 1. Our first stop is the Strawberry Farm.

At the farm they also plant lettuces, tomatoes and other leafy veggies that is unfamiliar to me. Maybe I haven't eaten those vegetables at home that's why I can't recognize them. Okay, that's only my excuse. LOL.

Strawberry fruits ready to harvest
We don't grab the opportunity to harvest strawberries because it is too expensive. You have to pay about 300 pesos and they will give you a mini basket to store the fruits. We just took a picture of strawberries, the farm, the muddy soil and the flying bees. Haha.

Baguio Part 1 - Road Trip

Sorry if I've been missing in action for a while due to our company's team building trip to the City of Pines - Baguio City! We stayed there for 3 days. The trip is super fun though when we went back to Manila we experienced having a flat tire in the middle of the road somewhere TPLEX exit and the bus driver that we hire was rude. There are so much drama on our trip that I don't want to write it here because it is too much of negativity. Of course we don't let those things stop us to enjoy our team building. No, no, no!

I still can say that we had a blast strolling Baguio City from their strawberry farm, Tam-Awan Village, Mines View Park to their wet market. We also eat out on some famous restaurants that serves delicious Chinese dishes, burgers, pizza and pasta. I also had a chance to try their strawberry ice-cream which is super delicious and comparable to gelatto but forgot to try strawberry taho. Huhu. I'm such a loser like that. Okay, this post is super long that I plan to divide it into 3-4 blog entries.

If you will go to Baguio expect a very long trip. It took us approximately 6-7.5 hours going to Baguio from Manila. My advise is to bring something that will entertain you on the trip such as PSP, watch movies, play games on your mobile phone, listen to music or the best activity to do at the bus is to sleep. We left at the office Thursday morning and had our lunch on one of the restaurant we saw on the road.

The view on our way to Baguio. You will see tons of this view during the whole road trip. Farm, cows, mango trees and local people and repeat this scene again. LOL.

We arrived in Baguio at 6 in the afternoon. A perfect time to had our dinner there at our rented rest house. Actually we planned to go night swimming but the activity didn't push through because we are so tired after we had our dinner. Haha.
The rest house that we stayed for 2 days in Baguio. Super duper cute and very homey!

Baguio Get away!

I will be away for a while because I will be going to Baguio for 3 days for our company's team building. Yay!

I'm super duper excited because it is my first time there. Haha. Yeah, yeah. I'm such a boring gal like that who likes to stay at home rather than strolling around Metro Manila and spending out of town trips. Anyway, I will be blogging about it soon on this page. So stay tune guys.

On the other hand my mood right now is quite happy because of EARLY PAYDAY. I put emphasis on that because it rarely happen until today. LOL. More money to spend on my Baguio get away! Love, love, love. Insert happy dance here:

Yellow Cab Lunch Out with my Officemates

Last Thursday, my office mates and I went to Yellow Cab for lunch. We are four girls and the developer guys would tease us that we didn't invited them. LOL. I bet they are envious about it because they are not invited. Haha.

Anyway, here are the food that we ate at the Yellow Cab. Sorry if there's no picture of us. I didn't take a group photo because I forgot about it and I am very famish. *Sniff, sniff*

For Him

Sleepless nights could have been a goodnight if you were here by my side.
I should let you enter in my life before without hesitations
Loving you is the happiest moment of my life
I will never change; I will make my life better with you
I hope our future will be as happy as the ray of light of the sunset
I certainly love the way you smile, the way you joke around
The way we giggle on simplest joke that we throw to one another
Oh I love you dearly, hope you will never leave me--

Boodle Fight or Pot Luck Session with the Officemates

We had boodle fight in the office and it was super fun since all the employees have the chance to bond with each other while we feast on delicious dishes! All departments are required to bring foods or viands last Friday.

Our team brought rice and banana. The accounting department brought banana leaf and roast chicken. The developer team brought beef steak.

Biscoff Cookie Spread

I find this cookie butter spread a perfect "palaman" (spread) for bread for my everyday breakfast meal! Hooray for beautiful mornings. Biscoff cookie spread taste not too sweet with a hint of a gingery flavor which I super duper like. The consistency is smooth and creamy but not too heavy. I recommend you to try this.
