Baguio Part 3 - Tam-Awan Village, Route 55, Mines View Park & Good Taste

I mentioned on my previous post about our 1st stop on Strawberry farm which you can read it on Baguio Part 2. After the strawberry farm we headed to our next destination which is Tam-Awan Village. At first I thought we will just walking or strolling the place but we end up trekking because it is like a mini-mountain with cliffs and muddy soil. This is also the time that my phone battery drained out. A boo boo for a newbie blogger like me. Luckily I have friends that I can resort to when I run out of photo to use in this blog. I just grabbed these pictures on their Facebook accounts! Yayy.

This banner greeted us when we entered the vicinity

We pay 50 pesos for the entrance fee which is on our part the company shouldered for us. Hehe. The advantage of team building. Hahaha.

Entrance Fee: Children 20 pesos, Student & Senior 30 pesos & Adult 50 pesos
Embossed art of a giant lizard beside the stairs.
I really don't know what is the purpose of this one but it caught my eye and find this cool
Other cool stuff you can find on the Tam-Awan Village
They call this house Alang and it has a fire place which is very common for local tribe

They also has this art gallery on one of the nipa-huts there at Tam-Awan village. Look at these random picture of artworks of local artists who donated their works at the museum.

At the top of the Tam-Awan village which is called the Dream Catcher. The irony of it the place has no giant dream catcher instead we saw a big wind chime hanging on the bamboo!

After we finished trekking we grab our lunched at Route 55. It was a raining that day and we are very famished about the activity that we had on Tam-Awan village. You know too much trekking can burn our baby fats so we need fooooooooood!

Route 55 food menu Baby back ribs and veggies: corn & coleslaw
We cut the baby back ribs for equal sharing and fat degustation. LOL.

As you can see we are busy filling our empty tummies here that we forgot to shot other dishes that we've eaten. Their dishes is okay, I enjoy the pizza so much. I highly recommend it to order when you're there.
Our next destination we went to Good Shepherd to buy some pasalubongs. I bought strawberry jam and ube jam. After that we went to Mines View Park. Luckily the rain stops pouring just drizzling. It is also foggy there too and very cold. Brrrr.
Foggy afternoon at Mines View Part. We are lucky that it is drizzling at that time and not raining.
We went to SM Baguio to watch the film Maleficent then had our dinner at the Good taste. The food there is super delicious and they have a huge servings. The sweet and sour chicken is good for 8 people by the way. I also love their soup. A perfect dish to have for a cold weather in Baguio.

My all time favorite comfort food - Pancit! Oh my God I'm happy.
A big bowl of steaming Chao Fan rice
Sweet & Sour chicken. The food attendant says that it is good for 3 people but we're surprised on how big their serving is that can feed 5 hungry people with this one.
We are tired but we still manage put a smile in our faces for this shot. After all this is a very happy and productive day for all of us. Yeah, we are very blessed!
